  • Children 2 to 5 years old: 2.5 mL (5 mg dextromethorphan HBr and 12.5 mg diphenhydramine HCl) every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 10 mL (20 mg dextromethorphan HBr and 50 mg diphenhydramine HCl) in 24 hours.
  • Children 6 to 11 years old: 5 mL (10 mg dextromethorphan HBr and 25 mg diphenhydramine HCl) every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 20 mL (40 mg dextromethorphan HBr and 100 mg diphenhydramine HCl) in 24 hours.
