How It Works
Painkil Caplet l works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, reducing pain signals and lowering fever. Unlike NSAIDs, it doesn’t affect prostaglandin synthesis in peripheral tissues, making it gentler on the stomach.
Duration of Action
Pain relief typically begins within 30-60 minutes of administration. The effects generally last for 4-6 hours. Maximum fever reduction occurs within 2 hours of taking the medication. Peak plasma concentrations are achieved within 30-90 minutes.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 caplets (500mg-1000mg) every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum of 8 caplets (4000mg) in 24 hours. Children 6-11 years: Consult healthcare provider for appropriate dosing. Always maintain at least 4 hours between doses.
Side Effects
Painkil Caplet is generally well-tolerated when taken as directed. Rare side effects may include mild nausea, skin rash, or allergic reactions. Long-term use or exceeding recommended dose may cause liver problems.
Warning
