To use Jergens Hydrating Coconut Body Wash, follow these simple steps:
- Wet your body: Begin by wetting your body thoroughly in the shower or bath.
- Dispense the body wash: Squeeze a small amount of Jergens Hydrating Coconut Body Wash onto a washcloth, bath sponge, or directly into your hands. You can adjust the amount based on your personal preference and the size of the area you want to cleanse.
- Create a lather: Rub the body wash between your palms or onto the washcloth/sponge to create a rich lather. This helps to activate the cleansing and moisturizing properties of the product.
- Apply to your body: Gently massage the lather onto your wet skin using circular motions. Start from your shoulders and work your way down to your feet, ensuring you cover all areas of your body.
- Focus on areas that need extra attention: Pay special attention to areas that tend to be drier, such as elbows, knees, and heels. These areas can benefit from the moisturizing properties of the body wash.
- Rinse off: Once you've thoroughly cleansed your body, rinse off the body wash with warm water. Ensure that no residue is left behind.
- Pat dry and moisturize: After rinsing, pat your skin dry with a towel. For optimal hydration, follow up with a Jergens moisturizer or any other preferred body lotion to lock in moisture and keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.
- Repeat as desired: Jergens Hydrating Coconut Body Wash is gentle enough for daily use. You can incorporate it into your morning or evening routine, or use it whenever you desire a refreshing and moisturizing shower experience.
In terms of cleaning your body it's effective. My only gripe is that it is a bit on the thinner side, but otherwise it works well. The bottle is also a good size, so you get a decent quantity of the product and won't run out right away.
Overall, I like it. 4 star rated.
The bottle did leak a little bit during shipping, but it arrived in a bag that had been knotted closed very securely. Hence, no harm, no foul to anything else in the box. I also am not sure of price point, which is the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars; if it is economical, it will absolutely earn that fifth star.
The consistency is a little runny, and I personally prefer body scrubs.
The scent is coconut which I usually like. However, while the coconut comes through, it's a rather flat and almost medicinal smelling coconut. It's not so unappealing that I avoid using it, but it's not nearly as nice of a coconut scent as other coconut body washes I've used. I also don't care for the bottle design since it makes it hard to dispense when the level gets low. I prefer the flat top bottles that can be stood upside down to make it easier to dispense thick liquids.
Performance is 5 star; scent and bottle design are 3 stars. Overall rating 4 stars. Good, but not a great body wash.
This "Jergens Coconut Body Wash" actually smells nice. I like the scent. There is an undertone of coconut. The scent is not overpowering and it doesn't make you smell like you smeared a broken coconut all over yourself either. The fragrance is mild and sweet. Kind of cake'ish, but better.
The Body Wash comes in a bottle that looks more like a shampoo bottle. In fact, the body wash itself is runnier than some other body washes and also looks similar to shampoo. My daughter accidentally started washing her hair with it, then realized she had grabbed body wash, and had to rinse it out. Haha. Side note: it didn't bother her hair any.
Even though the body wash is runnier, it still lathered really well. It rinsed off nicely too. The fragrance left behind after rinsing is nice and mild.
My teen, my 4 yr old, and myself all used this body wash. It didn't bother/irritate any of our skin. I didn't notice any more moisturizing than other body washes though. It didn't dry our skin out, but it didn't super moisturize it either.
Overall there is a nice fragrance to the soap, it lathers & rinses easily, but it doesn't hydrate your skin anymore than other leading brands do. In fact there are other "Hydrating" body washes that work better. I still like this soap though.
