Super Apeti Syrup contains the active ingredient cyproheptadine HCl, a medication used as an appetite stimulant and antihistamine.

Uses

Super Apeti Syrup is Used to stimulate appetite and induce weight gain in malnutrition or failure to thrive cases. Also provides relief for seasonal/perennial allergy symptoms due to histamine effects.

Mechanism of Action

Cyproheptadine blocks serotonin receptors involved in appetite signaling which increases hunger drive and subsequent calorie intake. It also antagonizes histamine H1 receptors to relieve allergy symptoms.

Dosage

Weight under 20kg: 2.5ml 2-3 times daily

20-40kg: 5ml 2-3 times daily

Adults : 10ml 3x daily

Take preferably before meals for optimal appetite-boosting effects.

• Causes drowsiness/sedation – caution with driving needed
