Emzor Azithromycin tablets contain 500mg of azithromycin, a potent macrolide antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections in adults and children over 12 years old.

Uses
Emzor Azithromycin 500mg tablets are specifically used to treat mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible microorganisms including:

• Acute bacterial sinusitis
• Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
• Community-acquired pneumonia of mild severity
• Pharyngitis/tonsillitis
• Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
• Urethritis and cervicitis

Azithromycin works by interfering with bacteria’s protein production and stopping their growth.
