Flowel Tablet contains tamsulosin to relieve enlarged prostate symptoms by relaxing muscles around the bladder neck and prostate.

Uses

Flowel Tablet is used to treat symptoms of enlarged prostate like weak urine stream, frequent/urgent urination, and inability to fully empty the bladder.

Flowel Tablet improves urine flow and reduces issues related to benign prostatic hyperplasia by relaxing smooth muscles and easing inflammation in the prostate/bladder neck.

Mechanism of Action
Tamsulosin works by blocking alpha 1A-adrenoreceptors responsible for muscle contractions allowing the muscles to relax.

Dosage

The standard dosage is 0.4 mg taken orally once daily. Can increase to 0.8 mg once daily if 0.4 mg has inadequate response.

Side Effects

Headache, dizziness, diarrhea, cough, sore throat. Seek medical care if serious side effects occur.

Warnings
Avoid use with similar alpha blocker drugs. Seek prompt medical care if fainting or allergic reaction occurs. Not for use in women and children.

Important Information

Inform eye surgeons about tamsulosin use prior to any cataract surgeries. Inform doctors about all other medications being taken.
