Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye):
- Mild to moderate infections: Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 to 4 hours for the first 2 days, then reduce the frequency to 4 times a day for 5 more days.
- Severe infections: Instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 15 minutes for the first 6 hours, then reduce the frequency to 2 drops every 30 minutes for the rest of the day. On the second day, instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every hour. From the third day onward, instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours for 5 more days.
Corneal Ulcers:
- Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 30 minutes while awake for the first 24 to 48 hours.
- After the initial 24 to 48 hours, instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every hour while awake for the next week.
- After the first week, instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours while awake for 2 more weeks.

To use ofloxacin eye drops, follow these steps:

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the eye drops.
Shake the bottle well to ensure the medication is properly mixed.
Remove the cap from the bottle.
Tilt your head back slightly or lie down on your back with your face upward.
Gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
Hold the bottle upside down, close to your eye, and squeeze it to release the prescribed number of drops into the pocket created by pulling down your lower eyelid. Be careful not to touch your eye, eyelid, lashes, or any other surface with the tip of the bottle to prevent contamination.
Release the lower eyelid and close your eyes gently.
Press lightly on the inner corner of your eye (near the nose) with a clean fingertip. This helps to prevent the eye drops from draining into the tear ducts and being absorbed systemically.
Keep your eyes closed and tilt your head forward slightly, allowing the drops to spread across the eye surface.
If you need to instill more than one drop, wait for a few minutes between each drop to allow the previous drop to be absorbed.
If excess liquid is on your face, wipe it away gently with a clean tissue.
Repeat the process for the other eye if both eyes require treatment.
Recap the bottle tightly.
