  • The dose should be based on the current regimen of sitagliptin. Typically, 50 mg sitagliptin plus the current dose of metformin twice daily.

Maintenance Dosage

• The dosage of Janumet should be individualized based on the patient’s current regimen, effectiveness, and tolerance.
• The maximum recommended daily dose is 100 mg sitagliptin and 2000 mg metformin.
