Uses
Terlev-750 tablets are FDA-approved for treating infections including:
- Acute bacterial sinusitis
- Acute pyelonephritis
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
- Community acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity
- Complicated urinary tract infections
Levofloxacin works by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, involved in the synthesis of bacterial DNA, to prevent further infection spread.
Dosage The recommended dose for most infections is one Terlev-750 tablet once daily for 7-14 days or per doctor’s instructions. The high potency means some conditions require less frequent, lower doses. Swallow tablets whole with plenty of water, evenly spaced apart.
